This is another of Sir John Tenniel's original illustrations for the children's novel, Alice in Wonderland. Today I've posted a digital image of the Rocking-Horse Fly digital stamp. What a wonderfully whimsical creature! This creature had wings, black dots on its body, and rockers attached to its legs. It also subsisted on sap and sawdust.
