You get extra points for using these mosquito illustrations in a crafting project! Not pretty or charming, but interesting and present a challenge for crafters. I found these two insect illustrations in an old scientific book. What I like to do with odd and 'not pretty' clipart is use the drawings in collages or as part of an altered art project. These are three, wonderful digital beetle downloads. I think these digital bug clip arts would be fun design elements in a spring or gardening project. I battle occasionally with little, creepy insects enjoying the fruits of my labors in my garden. A project for a child who loves bugs or collecting bugs and insects would be lots to create with any of these fantastic digital beetle illustrations.

These are two, digital, very detailed insect images I created from antique illustrations I found in a child's storybook. With any botanical or plant-related project, I think bug or insect images work so well. Bugs and plants go hand in hand, so pairing these digital bug clip arts in a project with some images of plants or flowers would make a great spring project even more charming.
